  • Hey Mr. Blanton! I'm a Blanton too! Ever researched the meaning of your Scotish Surname? I have, something like person or persons at the end of a long, long road who watches over a Horse Ranch or some shite, go figure!
    I'm pretty much a self-educated "noob" when it comes to computers but I like hacking my girlfiend's e-mail, I'm sick I guess, OH WELL!
    I think I could learn alot from you, "Blanton" and your site is phat as phuck! Keep it up. Could you send me some secret squirrel hacking tips, I'll keep them in the family! [ckblanton01@msn.com]
    Sincerely;
    CKBlanton

  • NIce shot, I like the DOF. Not much to do in Eustis - Did you by chance volunteer at Camp Boggy Creek?

  • Every photographer should have a self-portrait. After all, you don't always have models on call when you get your new lenses! LOL :D

Justin, circa 2006

Eustis, Florida, January 2006. I'm more than aware that it's probably a bit uncouth of me to post a picture of myself on my own photoblog (especially one that isn't a "real" self-portrait), but I don't currently have anything else processed, it's been a while since I last updated, and I'm horribly pressed for time lately; so, please accept my apologies. To those of you subscribed to my weblog, I further apologize for the double shot of me.

As for the actual photo, a friend of mine took it in early 2006 as we were playing around with my 50mm f/1.4 for the first time. Both he and I had a hand in processing it. I'm going to try my best to get another shot up sometime in the next few days (and I promise it won't be of me :).
