  • I can't really seem to figure out this shot. I must say that it looks very interesting because of the weird relections! :)

  • Yah, it's a bit odd and I probably should have explained it a little more. Basically, the wall itself is kind of frosted in parts and transparent in others. Right behind the wall are tons of flagpoles and flags; this is what you see through his hat. Almost everything else is a reflection.

Navy man

San Jose, California, February 2006. This is part of a memorial wall in downtown San Jose. That's Adobe's flagship building in the reflection.

On a site-related note, I've just noticed that Pixelpost strips the RSS feed of any HTML in my photo descriptions. Given that I tend to link a lot, I plan to hack up a fix for this as soon as I can find the time. For those of you not coming here from my regular site it may seem odd that I'm just noticing the no-HTML thing now, 40+ pictures in, but I actually didn't launch this site until a few days ago and started it with every picture you currently see (save the one you're looking at).
