  • Hey Justin, The photoblog looks great. I love your photos. Very clean, nice design. One comment though, on the "Gallery" page, the "Justin Blanton photography." image link takes you to "photos.justinblanton.com", instead of "justinblanton.com/photos" Other than that, everything is really cool.

San Jose, California, February 2006. Welcome to my new photoblog. I've talked a lot about this site on my weblog and if you're interested in some of the backstory I encourage you to check out the post where I announce its launch and click the links within it -- it was quite the decision for me to use a system separate from my CMS, but so far I'm glad I did it that way.

As for this image, I post-processed it quite a bit, but I don't think any more than necessary. I really wanted to separate the children from everything else and actually came up with quite a few variations before deciding on what you see. I probably could have spent a few more hours on it, but, to be honest, I'm kind of sick of looking at it.
