Mt. Dora, Florida, January 2006. These pictures were actually taken from the same dock as the sunset photo I put up about a month ago, though weeks later. I was experimenting with opening the new 50mm lens all the way up and bringing the setting sun completely out of focus. I'm really happy with the way it turned out; for whatever reason, the movie Lost in Translation springs to mind when I look at it.
